July 20, 2023: EQC Regular Meeting Item H: Waste Tire Rulemaking (Action) DEQ will present and propose rule revisions for Waste Tires. The proposal would relocate these rules from Division 64, a stand-alone division specific to waste tires, into Divisions 93, 96 and 97, relevant divisions that pertain to other types of solid waste management. The proposal would also update fee types and align the requirements with Oregon Fire Code. The last update to the Waste Tire rules was in 1992.
