Hello again.
I think the development application materials and 1200C application materials w/ CMMP will be adequate as a work plan. We have the draft schedule provided by Britta at our meeting last month and also the project roles from the submittal in meeting the terms of the consent order. So, I don't think you need to develop a separate work plan, but it would be good to send me iterative schedules for the project, as they develop and change. While the quarterly progress reports required by the 2014 Order are no longer triggered, I suggest a monthly update as to tasks accomplished, schedule update and tasks planned for the coming month. Does that sound ok? I'd be open to bimonthly or another frequency, but I think built in check-in opportunities would be helpful in keeping the project on track.

After construction, the last pieces will be: 1) the closeout report (signed by a registered engineer and the City project manager), describing how the terms of the Orders were met, 2) payment of any penalties and oversight costs; and 3) the long-term site management plan (replacing the interim site management plan), as required by the SOW in the 2014 order. At that point, DEQ can issue the Certification of Completion.

Thanks.

HI Alex,

I was talking to Kyle after the meeting and it sounds like Paul Seidel was looking for a work plan in addition to the Contaminated Media Management Plan. Can you confirm if this is needed?

If so, I'm thinking it would be brief remedial design/remedial action plan that will go over the project details at a high level and include project phasing, preliminary schedule (design, procurement, and construction), and project roles.

Thanks,

Thanks Brian.
Tuesday Mar 3 at 1pm works, but a call is probably best. Let me know the details. Talk to you then.

Hi Alex,

Does Tuesday at 1pm work? It’s a little while after your meeting at the 1900 building so let me know if a call is best. I can book a room at our office downtown too. Whichever is easiest.

My plan for the meeting is to run through your expectations with respect to remedial documentation (corrective plans, disposal plans, closeout reports, etc.). I've attached copies of the draft Land Use review for review. They will come through as two email due to size limits. We can take look at these as well; however, please bear in mind that they are still draft and subject to change based on input from the project team.

Thank you,

Hi Brian.

Sure. Monday or Tuesday afternoon works for me. Are you thinking of sending plans via email and having a call? I'll be at the City building at 1900 SW 4th for a meeting on Tues from 9-11am, if meeting in person after that would work, either at that building or another City location on the westside of the river. You are also welcome to come to our building in Lloyd. Or a call is fine, too. But it would be good to look at plans...

Hi Alex,

Are you available next week (Monday or Tuesday afternoon) for a brief conference call with me and Kyle regarding the Forest Park Entry site? We like to get your thoughts on design and construction submittals.

Thank you,
