Stephanie – I thought we had recent email communication regarding the latest with this site but perhaps it was just a phone conversation? That rings a bell as I believe you were going to research the concrete specifications? My understanding was the remote sensing surveys turned up nothing and the staining was welling up again following the inundating rains of recent. I have discussed this with my lead worker and our recommendation is to perform some borings in the stained areas and examine the soil profile. Preparation of a simple Work Plan is advised in this case. I would further recommend analysis of soil samples for NWTPH-DX and run the highest sample again for EPA Method 8270 SIM.
