Seth – The next Planning Commission meeting for Shirley Bank Subdivision is scheduled for December 7th at 6:30pm. The Planning Commission will need to re-open the hearing to consider ODOTs comments. We will send you an agenda packet.

As always, we welcome participation with State Agencies. However, I think it is prudent to be careful when interpreting a local jurisdictions code. As do all City’s, we do reserve the right to interpret our own code and some of your references are actually incorrect. In just one example, you reference Section 18.04.030 for the pedestrian connection. This section (A) specifically exempts single family detached housing. Shirley Bank Subdivision is 7 lots of detached housing.

These kinds of situations only pit us against each other when we should be collaborating. Let me know if you have questions.
