I attached he plans with the 8" waterline shown with the 2" blow off. Basically remove the blow off and reduce the 8" to a 4" (plumbing code). I would like to make sure you have all the parts, fittings, etc. before you start work. Do not operate the City valve. You can contact me or Andy with PW to arrange for someone to operate. Please make sure to have a clean garbage can or other vessel to disinfect the line before going live. A City rep must be on site for this work.
I'm only here half day Friday so I would like to know how long you think this will take. I'm only available between 7am and 1pm Friday.
Please send me a sketch of what your doing with material type and sizes.
Once we are on the same page, I'll schedule this work and have the meter delivered.
