Aldo and I spoke with Gerald Fisher, the Public Works Director, and he said that the City would allow you to extend South View Drive to the east. This would require a full street improvement built to city standards for a local street. The requirements for this can be found on the city web site under the public works tab you will find Design Standards. Section 2 is streets. The Salvetti’s would like to meet with you and City engineering, Brenda Reiner (and myself, also) … asking if you two might have time either Tuesday afternoon (June 26th) — or if you could provide us with a few options that work on your schedule. We can provide a basic sketch of what Salvetti’s had thought would be possible — and also would like to receive some type of written / email follow-up from the City so in the event the current City Code for flag lot development will not allow additional lots to be created thru Minor Partition process, the property owner would like to have some documentation citing the Code, and specific areas that apply.
