Attachments: 20170505 SDC Estimate 909 W Main.pdf; Hi Brenda, I spoke with Mr. Cruikshank today and he is going to have a contractor come in to take out a permit to install the water and sewer service to make it within the July 9th deadline to get 50% discount on water and sewer SDC’s. Attached is an SDC calculation. His wife will come in to pay the SDC’s and connections fees at one time. Connection for water is $600 and connection for sewer is $600. I let him know that he will be required to get a permit from ODOT for connections in the roadway. When they come in to pay it will be a good time to get them to set up a utility account that can become active once the meter is set. Thanks. He would like to have you or Dan call him to explain why we are forcing him to connect to sewer and water and making him pay SDC’s for sewer and water. He also said that there may be some discounted connection rates the city council mentioned in 2014 (July 9 session) if they connected sooner. Can you please give him a call? Are there any discounts we can apply for him?
