I received a call from a realtor who is representing a potential buyer of this property. She may visit with Zinder today at the counter to talk about development options. The property is zoned R-1.
FYI -- DZ and I discovered recently that our code allows “Cottage Cluster Housing” as a Special Use. That’s good news until you discover there are no Special Use Standards for such a use. I gave DZ a copy of the DLCD study about space-efficient housing types, like Cottage Cluster. In the Appendix of the document, the study offers many example codes. It’s not necessarily wise to add a new long-range project to our work plan right now….but we’ll look into it, at the very least.
