Attachments: image001.jpg; image002.jpg; Have no objection to cottage clusters. Just know that the street standard width and public infrastructure requirements stay the same. No skinny streets or other things of that nature. If done well, a cottage cluster would work well here. It is more flexible with common areas such as private access drives serving multiple homes under maintenance control of the HOA. She may visit with Zinder today at the counter to talk about development options. The property is zoned R-1. FYI -- DZ and I discovered recently that our code allows “Cottage Cluster Housing” as a Special Use. That’s good news until you discover there are no Special Use Standards for such a use. I gave DZ a copy of the DLCD study about space-efficient housing types, like Cottage Cluster. In the Appendix of the document, the study offers many example codes. It’s not necessarily wise to add a new long-range project to our work plan right now….but we’ll look into it, at the very least. Alice
