Hey Rick,

No problem. It was nice meeting you all.

I discussed with Gerald regarding the mid-block lane plausibility. We concluded based on the proposal the section 17-4.3.050 does not apply to the development. Gerald and I believe the variance is the best route for the proposal.

Subject: Mid-block Lanes

Hi Aldo,

Thanks for all of the information you and your team provided to us today. I wanted to get back to you on the mid-block lane reference that I was asking about. It is mentioned in the code under Section 17-4.3.050C as a possible option for the use of a private drive serving more than two homes in an infill situation. Given how tight the site is, it might provide a reasonable approach for this project instead of having to ask for variances to both lot depth and intersection spacing standards. I’d appreciate it if you would discuss it in-house and then let me know your thoughts.

Thanks again,

Rick
