Jennifer and Kelley:
The ADA ramp that was installed on the corner of Stowers Road and Hwy 211/161 prior to an approved ODOT permit by Superior Foundation was considered questionable so I contacted the City of Molalla to get their approval after the fact. I was informed that the slopes and 4’ landing were up to standards. Upon ODOT inspection the curb face appears to be a possible ‘trip hazard’; therefore I forwarded the photos of it to our Senior Roadway Designer. He has requested a stamped set of plans for this particular ramp to be submitted as part of the permit file, and for comment by him for our records.

Subject: City of Molalla - Hwy 211 and Stowers Road
This is the installation of the ADA ramp that Superior Foundation, Inc., did without a permit. The permit was issued AFTER the work took place with the City’s approval (attached).
I’m not sure if it is up to State Standards. Also the STOP sign has me baffled. Is this okay? Or is the City to install the stop sign in an appropriate location. Or is that David Smith’s position to do so?
