I spoke with the Molalla Public Works Director, Gerald Fisher, about the sidewalk panels which are out of compliance at 736 Rachel Lane. He instructed me that we have no tolerance allowable for exceeding the 2% cross slope on public sidewalks. You must remove the failed panels and repour. You will need to transition from 5.5% grade on the abutting panel on the west side to 2% or less within the first panel. You may be required to remove an additional panel to make the grades work. Sorry for this huge inconvience. The City will require this work be completed before we finalize your project.
