Hi Ms. Maloy,

This property was annexed under Ordinance 2014-18. Based on the annexation

process approved by City Council, all properties had to be connected to City

services within 5 years or prior to the close of property sale in accordance

with the following:

Annexed into City but not sold = deadline to connect is July 22, 2019.

Annexed into City and sold = connection required prior to close of sale.

I'll have our GIS analyst checking to see if there is a lateral from the

sewer main to your property in hopes that you won't have to have a

contractor go out into the street. If one does not exist then we will have

to see if you should be connected to the sewer on Leroy or the one in the

state highway. We'll need to get back to you on this.

There are fees for construction permitting, connection, and system

development charges. They are as follows:

Construction permit = $150 (if required)

Hook-up Fee = $600

System Development Charge Fee = $4,794 (will be going up slightly in the

next month due to inflation)

Brenda Reiner, Sr Engineering Technician, who handles the inspections and

Asking for what are requirements / costs /timelines for connecting to public

sewer system when a non-connected residence is sold —- if there is a link on

city website ... please share - or asking for document that has the details.
