Importance: Normal

Based on what I saw in the field it appears that the problem area is between the property line and the main – so this would be in the city responsible section at 720 N Main.

Thank you Brenda. I will speak with Lynda regarding this. I am curious though, are you able to tell by the sewer scope if it is the lateral or party line that is cracked? Or is there a way you can verify where it is so we know exactly who is responsible for repair?

I want to reach out to you to correct some misinformation. I spoke with our Public Works Director and he said that the City has responsibility for the sanitary sewer lateral from the property line to the main. So if the sewer gets backed up or other serious problems – we will go out and fix this section. Things like party lines we won’t fix but will issue a no cost permit to the person who wants to fix this. I apologize for any confusion this has caused as we worked through this.
