Attachments: Tuff Shed Site Plan_20200911.pdf; Gerald, Attached is a site plan for a shed at 716A N Molalla. Application is complete, I just don't have Acrobat to put it all together at home but this should be what you need for review. Been rather smoky around here lately. Please find attached my rough map of my property with the planned location of my shed. It is ‘roughly’ to scale but hopefully contains all the required information Anxious to order my shed (they have a sale going on) but not sure what the next step is. Assume I am to wait until you give me the go ahead. We need to see a site plan which is basically a map of your property showing dimensions of the property and outlines of existing and proposed buildings. It can be hand drawn. Rear setback would be 5ft and side setback 3ft. The purpose is to ensure that it is not built over easements or utility lines. I do not believe there are any on that property but Public Works wants to look at these projects for that reason. Best, Dan Z

Hi Dan,
I am confused, I thought I could build or have built (i.e. Tuff Shed) an outbuilding that was 200 sq ft or less without
A permit. I only contacted the city to check on what the setback requirements are. Not sure how to do a ‘site plan’.
Trying to be a ‘good’ citizen here but am afraid I’ve opened a can of worms.
Please advise on what you need for a site plan,
Thank you,
Milo Wignall

Hi Milo,
Apologies for the delay. I thought I had responded to this message but just found this message in my drafts folder.
The City of Molalla has received your application for a new outbuilding at 716 N Molalla Ave but found no attached site plan. The City will need a site plan showing existing and proposed buildings on the property to process it. As the proposed building is under 200 sqft we can run this as a no-fee permit.
Thank you and have a great weekend,
Dan Zinder

Hi Milo,
Here is the application form you need. We just need a basic site plan with the first page filled out. You can submit either by email back to us or to City Hall.
Thanks!
Julie – this is a small shed project that will be one of our no-fee permits that just runs through to Gerald.
Best,
Dan Zinder
