Hi Ray,
The meter size is ¾” unless the fixture units warrant more. The plumber will have to supply me with the calculations for an upsizing to a 1” meter and there is an impact to system development charges. The water service size can be 1” which is usually enough to serve a duplex. That may change if sprinklers are required.
For water pressures and flow rates they can contact Mike Penunuri of the Fire District. He has the latest test information for that area. I have included him in this email so you can get the info you need. Thanks and have a good evening.

my plumber is attempting to size the water line needed from meter to building to service the new duplex we are building at 713 e. main street. he is asking for the meter size and pressure? if you're not the person to be asking this can you direct me to who could? thanks you. ray 503-313-9228
