It doesn't at the matter to me either way. Letter designations to me are for apartments. If it does get the letter designation, my requirement will be that the address is posted at the entrance with numbers and letters not less than 4 inches in height with a stroke width of not less than one half inch. The numbers and letters shall be reflective, visible from both directions of travel and contrast with the background on which they sit.

Agreed, that would be the best outcome. To date we haven’t changed existing addresses without consent of the owner.

I know the process is more technical on changing already assigned address, but would it make sense to change 619 to 617 and give 619 to the new parcel. Just a thought.

Mike – I am going to need to address this parcel. Would you be ok with addressing it 619 Unit A W Main ST? Unfortunately, it is already flanked by 619 to the west and 621 to the south. I had originally advised the Applicant that 621 A would be the address but my thinking now is that since it uses the same access it should use the 619.
Not ideal but we’re working with what we have. Let me know if you have another idea.
