Subject: 621 E. Main Street Property - Storm Water Treatment for Residential Lot

Hello Gerald,

I have a quick question regarding storm water treatment for my client’s lot.

In reading your development standards and permit requirements, I see where we are allowed to run our storm water through a weephole in the curb. Our issue is that we don’t have the ability to do this without pumping which is not a preferred option.

I see where the city is open to LID’s and I was curious as to whether the city would allow an infiltration pond or rain garden for treatment and then allow us to discharge to the creek in the back of the property. Would you please let me know if this is an acceptable alternative to pumping?

Much appreciated!

Mark
