Gerald,

I have attached a revised site plan showing impervious surface for the site. The pergola (white structure) is not included).

In the message below, the Applicant also itemized impervious surface for both the modified project and original submission.

Let me know if you have any Qs.

Give me a ring at the number below when you get a chance to make sure everything is apples to apples. What I need is

(Sqft impervious after the addition) – (Sqft impervious the addition)

The pergola cannot be counted in the before.

That number informs the SDC charges – (or in this case, likely a credit having already paid for a higher sqft total).

Sorry for the confusion, Dan. Technically, we’ve decreased the amount of impervious surface by 378 SF. Let me know if you need me to add this to the drawings, or if this is sufficient.

Thanks!

Melanie,

Just left a voicemail – I’m seeing what I believe is total impervious surface for the site and what we need to see is the change from the added square footage. The white pergola will not be considered in this total.

Public Works did their storm SDC calcs for the original decision based on new impervious and will be doing the same here.

Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Dan,

I’ve reattached the site plan with edited numbers. My apologies for that! Just an FYI, the new community room design is actually smaller than the original proposed.

For clarification, the white structure is an existing pergola, that will now be removed.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Melanie,

Please revise the site plan to incorporate additional impervious square footage per the response below.

I have not yet received a response from MFD but will follow up in the morning.

Thank you,

Hi Dan,

I need to know what the impervious area is for the rec building and the new sidewalk areas leading to it. They need to assume no structures in that large square area exist and that it is entirely grass. I don’t know what the white structure is in the aerial but it is not part of the original development and cant be counted as a deduction on the new square footage since it was constructed around 2016. Thanks.

Subject: MOD05-2020 - 615 W Heintz ST - Community Room as a stand alone building instead of an addition

Good morning,

Toliver Terrace (615 W Heintz ST) has applied for a modification to their Building Permit Authorization permit for a community room (P49-2019) that they received in the fall. Due to site constraints, they now intend to build a stand alone building instead of an addition.

Please find the new application and site plan attached. I have also included the original decision for P49-2019 for your reference.

Thanks!
