Gerald –

I know you’re out of the office until 10/20, and might not be able to respond until your return, but I’m trying to locate a couple of things in the new Construction Standards, and am not having much success – hopefully, you can point me in the right direction:

* In my pre-app notes from last June, I wrote down that we are to assume a pre-historic condition for our pre-development hydrologic condition for our site (i.e. – use “prairie” condition). However, I’m not finding that in the new Construction and Design Standards. I’m just seeing reference to extg conditions for pre-development, and not prehistoric condition. Can you point me in the right direction for this requirement? The answer obviously has a big impact on the detention storage for the site, as it’s currently mostly gravel, and we’re trying to get an idea of what the storm detention costs would be.
* Street structural section – I see that the street design standards list a minimum pavement section for the roads (noting that the structural section design must be based on a geotechnical investigation), but I don’t see a minimum aggregate section in the standards? Is there a minimum aggregate section, or am I just not seeing it? We talked a little about the structural section last week, but I was thinking I would find a minimum section in the new standards, and am not finding it.
