Wayne,

Okay, that’s what I thought. At 600 rivers lane – Jennifer (from CC building dept) told the builder that you won’t inspect his line up the easement. This led to some confusion.

If in a private easement, the piping will be privately maintained and is to be permitted and inspected by the county.

Wayne,

I’m checking with you to see who inspects the private storm/sewer/water lines that run in easements to private property. I attached 2 examples of this:

  1. 1. 600 Rivers Lane – I was told by this builder that the County won’t inspect the lines where they run from Toliver up the easement to the property line. I’m not sure if the builder was mistaken or trying to mislead.
  2. 2. McEachran subdivision – this seems like a similar case so I’m checking on this too.

Based on our previous discussions on ponds – I think that you inspect these but since this builder said otherwise – I wanted to double check with you.

Thanks,
