Subject: 523 3rd St Molalla
Good morning,
I am writing in regard to some issues that we are having in our neighborhood, specifically with those who reside at 523 3rd St. To give you some history, there was a motorhome parked at the end of Eckerd Ave (in front of the Moose Lodge) about 2 months ago. People were living in the motorhome and had a couple of vehicles and items parked on the street outside it. It was in that location for an extended period of time (more than 2 weeks). That motorhome, the vehicles and their other items then moved further down Eckerd and was parked near where 3rd St intersects with Eckerd. It was parked there for a little over a week. It then moved into the driveway at 523 3rd St, which is where it is currently located. There have been people living in it this entire time. They now have three of their vehicles parked on Eckerd. These vehicles include a white Chevrolet truck which has not moved in more than 2 weeks, the bed of the truck is filled with garbage and it has a jack underneath it; a bronze Ford F150; and a little maroon car which is on a small towing trailer. In front of the house there are normally 5 cars parked which sometimes makes it difficult to drive on 3rd street because there isn't enough room. On the other side of the house (on Eckerd) there is another motorhome parked with people living in it and a very large cattle type truck parked behind it. These two vehicles have not moved in more than 2 weeks. There is a constant, steady stream of people at all hours of the day and night in and out of that residence and an over abundance of vehicles parked on city streets which are not moving.
We reside on Eckerd. And we are frequently woken at night due to this traffic of people and vehicles. I am very concerned about safety due to the fact that there are so many vehicles (motorhomes, trucks) on the public streets that all belong to people in that house or in those motorhomes. Not to mention the fact that people are living in motorhomes for a long period of time.
I would really appreciate if someone could address these issues. If you have any questions regarding this matter please feel free to reach me by email or at 503-349-5562.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
