I spoke to Mike and Mike on Friday and it appears for all the world that we are moving forward. I advised them that Fire was satisfied with your (Gerald) explanation of the fire line, but that the development agreement still needed to be completed prior to granting the full business license. I also advised that we could not allow them to utilize the building without the sewer being legalized. They conveyed that they believe that to be a property owner issue and I told them I didn’t disagree, but that no matter who’s issue it is it needs to be fixed before a business can go in.
Mike Robinson is working on the Development Agreement and re-tapping Avison’s people to legalize the sewer. There is still movement here and I think we’re nearing an agreeable resolution, but only time will tell.

Dan,
Spencer has failed to make anything happen on this. They still have not taken out a permit to install the cleanout. I think that option has passed and we should go back to permit for cleanout and SDC charges. They’ve failed to hold up their end of the bargain and I think we should fire our City Attorney from this one and turn it over to Mac. I’ve not heard anything on this since August.

Spencer – I am thinking that maybe we need to tell Mike Robinson that most of the issues identified will not work for us. I am not going to argue over these items that are non-starters.
