We should talk about this. We didn’t have time to chat through these issues before the letter went out on Friday One of the consequences of turning off the water to Rainier and North Sky may be that Scandia and PBIS will lose their water service too. I talked to Andy briefly about that. He said there may be some things he can address at the water main. It wasn’t in my language , so I figured he would discuss it with you upon your return.

The other issue is that we are asking for all “outhouses” to be removed from the properties. The consequence of that is that PBIS will lose their access to a bathroom until a bathroom can be constructed. I informally asked Mike Robinson below if PBIS could temporarily use the restroom in the Scandia tenant space. The answer written below is “no,” for the reasons he includes below.

These are problems that Mr. Avison and his attorney will need to sort through in the next two weeks. I wanted to be sure you were aware of them and could come up with some possible answers to these issues when they arise. I am copying Spencer on this because we anticipate this will become a legal matter.

Good morning, Alice.

As you requested in our call last week, I asked Mike if the night watchman could use Scandia’s bathroom. Mike’s answer is shown below.

“Mike,

We are unable to offer the night watchman use of our restroom because the only access is through our office which is locked after normal business hours.

Please let Alice know we are sorry we cannot accommodate the City’s request on this issue.

Mike”
