As promised, here is Email #2 with some background information to prepare for our meeting on 12/11/19

Questions We Should Expect To Answer At This Pre-App:

  1. 1. Which permits and processes are required before ICL/Scandia LLC can begin operations in Molalla?

 

  1. 2. Is it possible for ICL/Scandia LLC to phase any improvements so that the company might begin operations before completing all required improvements?

 

Note: The City, Fire District and ODOT typically don’t allow phased improvements, but I expect the applicant will ask this question. We should all be prepared.

Background:

The property is zoned M-2 and is part of a former mill site that is ripe for redevelopment. The property currently contains no uses that were established legally through a development code process. See map below:
