I spoke with Gerald about this and he said that we don’t have any mechanisms in place for the FILO or LID – so the only option is to construct the improvements.

Hi Brenda,
Thanks for taking a few minutes with me this morning. Also thanks for the manual.
I have attached a map of the area that have the roads marked in green that have no curbs or sidewalks. There is nothing close by our proposed new home that have the improvements.
I would like to ask if we could pay a fee in lieu of doing the half street improvements. It seems that this whole area should be done at the same time via a local improvement district, a grant or some other way. When that happens, any work that we do now would be replaced anyway.
Is it possible to pay a fee in lieu of the work. Please let me know as soon as possible.
