Attachments: Pre-Application.pdf; Hi All – ODOT has determined that we cannot require a new Approach Permit based on the Change of Use criteria. But we will be recommending that the access to the Highway be closed and access (ingress/egress) from Shaver Avenue. This is a recommendation and ODOT cannot require, the City would need to determine if local code supports closure of access. If the City cannot/does not require closure of the access to the Highway, ODOT would recommend that the access be paved for commercial use, which will require an Approach Upgrade Permit. · Can/will the City require closure of the Highway Approach? If not, will the City require the access to be paved? · Is the City requiring frontage improvements based on the proposal? Let me know! We are trying to determine if we need to attend tomorrow or if we can send comments in advance of the pre-app. Cheers!
