I have contacted City Admin and determined the fee can’t be paid via credit card. I will bring a check down tomorrow. Section 13.14.100 Exemptions states the following: “An alteration, addition, replacement or change in use that does not increase the parcel’s or structure’s use of the capital improvement facility is exempt from all portions of the system development charge.” Based on the use of the building and the description I believe that the structure is exempt from Transportation System Development charges because it does not generate any additional trips to the site. The building is not exempt from Stormwater System Development charges because it does contribute to stormwater runoff as a whole. Attached is a copy of the SDC calculation for your records and the total cost is $506. Once the fee is paid then Public Works can issue approvals to the Planning Department so they can notify the County of the occupancy approval. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
