We only require PUE of 10 feet along the ROW. If the utility goes outside of that then that can be a private easement between the utility and the property owner. We only manage access along the ROW.

Lance,

Long time no talk and hopefully you and family are doing well. We are just living the dream and chase kids in their activities. All is good with us.

I am still working on the MRSD property division to divide off the Aquatic Center. We are getting really close to being done with this task. We are addressing County Survey and City review comments.

Question for MCC and hopefully you can help me or point me to the right person.

As noted on along bottom of Parcel 3 on Sheet 1, MCC has a buried line from Cole Avenue to Aquatic Center that awe need to put in an easement. County Survey questioned if this should be a “Private” or “P.U.E.” (Public Utility Easement) Easement? Offhand MCC is the only utility in this easement and all other utilities access Aquatic Center from Frances Street or front side of facility.

We would like to know if MCC has a preference.

We will also ask the same of City.

We believe that any utilities needing access to Aquatic Center should be from Frances Street so this should stay as Private, but we are open to preferences and making all happy.
