Hi Tony,
The only public easement we need is for the fire line which would be a 15’ wide waterline easement centered on the existing line and extending 7.5 feet beyond the fire hydrant. It appears that the water meter is in the future 10 foot wide PUE so no additional easement is needed there unless it is outside of the 10 foot width. The other easements for the lines heading to the west and connecting into Debra Street will be private easement that can be provided on the partition of the property. It is unclear from the prior meetings if the school district or future developer will want the storm and sanitary laterals co-located in an easement that fits future development plans.
As far as the questions about the utilities shown in the bubble, we do not know where those lines are. The project was built back during a time where document are hard to find and in some cases no documentation exists other than asbuilts or construction drawings. Those are all private plumbing lines that may only be found by potholing or locatable cameras. There are a couple of local plumbing firms that can provide that service and have the ability to vactor ex or video locate. Sorry I don’t have much more information to give.

Subject: Molalla Aquatic Center Utilities
Gerald and Dan,
I believe most of the utilities were marked and we have mapped them the best we can. We mapped all the utilities features that we thought might have an impact on telling the story about existing features. We put together the attached drawing and as noted we have some questions. There are differences between what we found in the field, what GIS shows and what Aquatic Center plans noted. We need help reviewing and resolving the details.
We are also looking to know what you want for Easements?
We need limits and types of easements to call out.
Will we be grouping utilities or individual easements?
I am thinking something like a 25- or 30-foot Access and Utility Easement might cover a lot of the features from Francis Street south to just past end of pavement or something like that.
We still do not know what the configuration of the Aquatic Parcel will look like. I have not heard that a decision has been made yet. I know a lot of options were thrown around, but I did not hear any option leading the decision.
Please review and let us know your questions and comments.
