Hello Ray,

See attached Molalla’s Public Utility Easement form for your reference. Please read through and let me know if you have any question. Their might have been some miss communication. We provide the Legal Doc. “attached File”. Required from you is the Legal description of the property set forth in “Exhibit A” and a map of the legal description of the property set forth in Exhibit B. The one you sent has the two combined. Once I have received both exhibits, We can move forward on Notarizing the document here at City Hall, By appointment with our City Recorder Christie DeSantis. You can reach her by email at cdesantis@ctiyofmolalla.com Once Notary is complete, the City will take the signed document to the County for recording. City Recorder will notify you when ready for pick-up. There is a fee for the Notary and recording, which will be calculated by the City Recorder and due upon pick-up.

Regards,

Sam Miller | Sr. Engineer Tech.

Hi Ray,

The attached PDF has the legal stuff, the description, and an exhibit map (it was pretty straight forward so we decided to go ahead and make one). The Word document has just the legal stuff in case the City wants to make any changes to their signature area. Side note – future projects will likely take longer, this just happened to fall into a perfect window between projects (that never seem to end!).

Thanks,

Hi Ray,

We can draft the easement based on the provided example for $600. Let me know if you’d like us to proceed and I’ll add it to my queue, should be able to get it to you within a week of receiving your acceptance.

Thanks,

sorry for the delay. needed to get back to the office to round up info for you.

the tax lot #'s are 52E09CD3001 and 3002.

address of tax lot 3001 is 226 and 228 echerd avenue (duplex)

address of tax lot 3002 is 222 and 224 echerd avenue (duplex)

i can do the map showing the easement.

i checked with the city of molalla and they do not have a template they use.

attached is a most recent survey done in the area.

as well; i've attached a similar template that the city of oregon city uses that is basically what we need.

10' P.U.E. from street side (east)

let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Ray,

We can definitely write some legal descriptions. A few questions:

  1. 1. What are the addresses/tax lot numbers for the two lots?
  2. 2. Do you want an exhibit map as well as the written description?
  3. 3. Do you require all the “legalese” with the description or does the County have a template that can be used? (Example attached, legalese is pages 1-5 in this case.)
    1. a. If they don’t have a template, we’ll need to know who the easement should be granted to.

Thanks,

greg,

do you guys have time to write a legal description for a p.u.e. for two lots i have in molalla clackamas county?

they are (2) 50x100 city lots that need a 10' p.u.e. on the front of them.

i have the map drawn but the city is asking for a legal description prepared by a land surveyor (stamped).
