Aldo, thank you for bringing me in to the loop on the Berkley vehicle showroom. Conditions for approval are as follows.

Vehicles stored inside the building will need to comply with section 314.4 of the 2014 OFC which states:

  1. 1. Batteries are disconnected at all times the vehicle is stored indoors.
  2. 2. Fuel in the tanks shall not exceed a quarter of a tank or 5 gallons. Whichever is LEAST.
  3. 3. Fuel tanks and fill openings are to remain closed at all times
  4. 4. Vehicles are not to be fueled or defueled within the building

 

Fire extinguishers are to be dry chem and placed as per table 906.3(2) of the 2014 OFC

Just an fyi they did go through the planning process. As I noted below a notice of application was sent out the surrounding property owner, which also means it is deemed complete. So I could get any comments/conditions for the plan review that would great! Thanks!
