Good morning Shirley:

Giving you a heads-up about an applicant who will be submitting a building permit application and a plan set for a new 1,500 square foot office building at 114 Robbins Street in Molalla.

Over time, Mr. Ron Farner’s practices have led to diminished trust with the City. As a result, we are concerned he may switch the plans that have been approved by the City with different plans for the County, removing some of the features the City has required. As a result, we have elected to stamp each plan sheet he submitted to us. We are respectfully requesting that the County not accept any plans from Mr. Farner that do not have an “APPROVED stamp by A. Cannon on 8/21 or 8/22” and a “City of Molalla seal” stamp. All of these stamps were inserted by the City electronically. Each plan sheet two stamps appearing like this:

Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Sorry to add this extra burden to your review, but I know your agency understands how applicants can switch plans, playing one agency against the other during a review process. We have a great relationship with the County. I trust we can work through this with Clackamas County Building.

Sincerely,

Alice Cannon
