Congrats on your annexation

I’ve attached your receipt.

Half street improvements are typically required as part of development. I do not believe the City has any project scheduled for Lowe RD. This is something that can be broached as development proposals start to germinate.

Hello Dan,

Thank you for your guidance in our project to annex the S. Lowe Properties,

I have a couple of questions:

  1. 1. Does the City of Molalla plan to bring S. Lowe Road up to City Standards soon? If not how does one go about making this happen?
  2. 2. Back in April of 2021 we submitted a $3,000.00 check to the City for Application Processing Fee.

 

I have not received a copy of the receipt for this payment.

I need to have a copy for my records.

Planning Commission gave its (non-mandatory) recommendation last week and staff has recommended approval as the proposal meets State and City requirements as applicable.

I may have to zoom in remote to the meeting tomorrow but will be providing the staff report either way, barring something unexpected. Representatives for the applicant will then have the opportunity to speak.

Please find your letter of completeness for DCA14-2021 attached.

Next steps are for the City to notify DLCD of the pending legislative action (the annexation). Notification is required at least 35 days out from the first hearing. Our aim is to take this to the January 12th City Council meeting. Assuming, that date holds, we’ll discuss it with Planning Commission the prior Wednesday (Jan 5th). The PC is not the decision making body here but our practice is to include comments from them as part of the record for the Council meeting.

I’ll be notifying DLCD prior to Thanksgiving. Congrats. You all are on your way
