If your development has an impact to the system then it is required the pay SDC’s based on those impacts. There are no exemptions for these impacts and the only flexibility we have is financing over a 2 year period but our interest rate is high compared to a bank or other lender. Am I correct to assume that SDC’s are synonymous with “Impact Fees?” How is the transportation SDC calculated, and is there any room for flexibility on any of these SDC’s? The transportation SDC numbers are based on our estimate of the City Council’s SDC update which will be less than the original approved SDC’s set back in 2020. Water SDC (2” water meter) = $22,217 Water SDC (1” irrigation meter) = $6,944 note this is optional but recommended due to sewer fees without irrigation meter.
