Dan,

Public Works will not approve the proposed layout since it does not match the layout submitted and approved in the original application (see attached). The reason why PW agreed to the original layout is because there were no impacts to the access on to OR 211. Their proposal changes that and creates a conflict at the access to the ODOT ROW. They will need to resubmit to match the original planned layout in order to get Public Works’ approval to move forward. Thanks.

Great Marah. Diving into this one a little, it looks like ingress/egress is very close to the highway. Potentially some queuing backup issues as well. Do you foresee the current layout as problematic with ODOT standards? My initial read is that our planning code will not allow the proposed orientation - it may actually be worthwhile for us to touch base prior.

Attached are ODOT comments for the pre-app this Thursday for the fast food restaurant within the Cascade Center shopping center. All the State highway permits and improvements are the responsibility of Cascade center, so I have prepared comments that are consistent with those submitted for other developments within the shopping center.
