Hello Bill,

We’ve discussed the potential for City participation in the required roadway improvements for your project, and need a bit more information.

We’ll need engineered cost estimates for the ½ street and access improvements along the areas shown on the map below. Please ensure the estimate includes the entirety of the area shown, including the roadway in front of your neighbor to the east. Please insure that the estimate is not inflated, we have the expertise in-house to see if it is and will reject any participation if that occurs. Also, the area shown on the map exceeds what is required for improvement, we recognize that and our participation would exceed the costs of any “unrequired” improvement.

Secondarily, we will require some Community Benefit in order to participate. After discussions, we believe that could be accomplished by dressing up the private property portion of your sidewalk along 211. Dan Zinder is reviewing the Downtown Master Plan and will be more than willing to discuss some options with you.

We look forward to moving forward on your project and will determine what level of assistance might be appropriate based on the estimates you provide. Thank you.
