Yep. Have that line budgeted in upcoming budget. Council to approve in June and then we can start our design on the south end after July 01. I anticipate that we will have the new line extended over the winter and should match up nicely with the developers work.

It was for the waterline main to come off of Heintz around the east side of the belt manufacturers building and extend the new line down to the south end of their parcel. We are planning for extending a new line from OR 211 north and connecting to the line from Heintz so we have a looped waterline and all new hydrants.

Good morning. Gerald was the water line the replacement for they hydrants or was this for domestic water? Just want to clarify before I make comments. Have a great day.

Mike

Hi Dan,

They will have to include construction of a waterline meeting our requirements and dedicate the sewer easement meeting the same description as the attached. Their building is currently over the top of an existing water, sewer, stormwater easement which is in violation of our easement rights. The way to correct is for a new waterline to be constructed and a public waterline easement to be dedicated. Once that is done then we will vacate the old water, sewer, stormwater easement north of the extension of the north ROW line of Hoyt Street which will bring them into compliance. Will send you comments in full. Thanks.

All,

Comments are requested for a site design review for 525/535 W Main ST by 6/2/2021. Please let me know if you will need additional time.

A couple of FYIs -

The Applicant did not include the waterline and easement from the original submittals on their revised plans arguing that it was not a completeness item. Mac and I discussed the new waterline and easement and agreed with that determination. It can, however, be a finding/condition that the existing system is substandard and needs to be replaced w/ the appropriate easement.

Also, AKS researched the sewer easement on Avison’s property and unfortunately this is another case where the document was finished but never recorded. We will have to condition the easement as part of this process.

Best,
