Hi Tracy,
There is a waterline along Hwy 211 and a sewer trunk line along the creek near the north end of the property. Water and sewer are being charged and the property owner was required to connect to the City system and decommission the septic system and provide us with a copy of the paperwork. If you are going to take care of it then you will only need a plumbing permit for the work and pay the connection fee. The SDC’s have already been paid for so that has been taken care of. I’ve included Sam Miller, Sr. Engineering Technician who can help with the tracking of the conditions with our Planning Department to ensure everything gets closed out. Hi Gerald,
I contacted you in December about the property on Main Street. After some back and forth, my partner and I have the property under contract. We received the preliminary title report and did our best to decipher the information regarding all the easements on the property. The sewer and PGE were pretty straight forward, but the water and phone were not. If we understand correctly the water line easement is along 211. The phone, we don't have a clue. Is this something you can help us with?
Dale was not willing to take care of the sewer hookup and septic decommission before closing or keep the account in his name. We will be taking care of it during escrow. It is our plan to have that wrapped up in May.
We are looking forward to being part of the Molalla community!
