Hi Alice.

They need to go through Planning as a pre-app and pay the fees. No free reviews.

They can go through the process but will probably have an uphill battle with DEQ on adding SF residential. They will have another issue with fire as there would be no secondary connection because the width at Vick Road is too small and up against a railroad ROW. They would also have to follow the Public Use Areas requirement in CH 17.

Subject: UGB Expansion / City Annexation.

Hi Dan and Gerald,

I hope my email finds you doing well during this very strange and difficult time. We have a client with property abutting the northern boundary of the City limits and he would like to get his property annexed into the City. The property currently does not have situs address, but the County Assessor Map and Tax Lot number is: 52E05 02002. It’s approximately 5.97 acres in size and zoned EFU.

I know when I was helping out at the City last year, the City was not processing applications for annexation because there were capacity issues with the sewer and water. Has anything changed since last year? Any update you can provide on the sewer and water master plans/capacity, as well as how you are handling annexation requests, would be very helpful so I can update our client.

Thanks for your help!

Steve
