Hello Sam. No additional hydrant would be needed. Relocating the existing one behind the ROW would be fine. I also spoke with Jeff Bolton from MultiTech regarding hydrants and FDC’s this morning. The conversation went very well.

Hi Mike,

Referring to the fire hydrant located on the northeast corner of the lot. Will most likely need to be relocated behind the ROW and future ADA ramp. Is there a preference on location and would additional fire hydrant be required. There are two additional fire hydrants on Miller St. one on the corner of N. Molalla Ave. and the other on Affolter Ave. Distance between the fire hydrants on the corner of Faurie Ave. and Affolter Ave. is approx. 440 Feet.

Miller is a dirt and gravel street and there is barely enough room for two way traffic vehicle traffic. They will need to make sure and keep the road way open during construction. There is water on the corner of their lot so water supply should not be an issue.
