Dear Steven Floyd,

Thank you for your concern/inquiry. Based on the information you provided the City dispatched a Civil Inspector to review the construction and stormwater system on Miller St. The Inspector checked the weep holes and confirmed that they are not connected, they are only stubbed out for future connections when the Street sees eventual improvement, and Storm water from the property is being detained onsite in drywells.

There is curb and gutter along that side of the street all the way down to N Molalla Ave, and when we did our inspection the weather was maybe too nice for us to see the issue directly. Do you happen to have any pictures of the issue you could supply? If so, I can pass them along to our Maintenance Crew and we can see what kind of grading can be done to alleviate the issue.

Thank you!

Respectfully,

Andy Peters, Public Works Div Manager

Nature of Concern

I live at 116 Miller St and I have a concern with water drainage on my road. A new house is being built next to me and they have all their water from the gutters draining into the road. I can’t call it a street because it’s a gravel road except the small patch in front of the new house. All that water is washing out the gravel at the end of my driveway causing damage to my vehicles when I pull out. The new house has such a large footprint because of the high peaks. It collects about 90% of all the rain for that lot forcing it onto the road. The road needs regular maintenance, grading, gravel added, and storm drains added. Please address some of these issues.
