Hey Steve –

Thanks for submitting me this application.

A few things.

  1. 1. Did I miss the DEQ Installation checklist? See attached, Rich Wright sent it just this afternoon.

 

  1. 2. I need an as-built. See attached
  2. 3. On the Release detection equipment. … Max Duffy’s testing licenses expired in June 2022. I cannot accept his testing until DEQ receives his current license. Sent ICC document, will send check and renewal document in AM overnight.

 

  1. 4. Can you confirm if LLDs were tested at satellite dispensers (as well as the main disp.) to ensure proper solenoid placement. Yes, the plumbing on these dispensers is configured correctly, where out of the master dispenser, but before the solenoid the satellite feed exists the master cabinet to the inlet of the satellite and only one solenoid controls the flow of product out of the satellite.

 

  1. 5. There are two turbines on-site. Is the piping manifolded? YES in the tank Sump If so, is there a controller or other mechanism to ensure the turbines cannot turn on at the same time? Yes, The turbines have redjacket iQ controllers and are programmed for Master Satellite configuration. Only one sub can run at a time.

 

  1. 6. Can you include some photos of the installation / sumps, etc. Absolutely, see attached,

 

  1. 7. What backfill was placed in the trenches and tank nest? The same as the tanks
  2. 8. I saw there was fire marshal stuff… Sometimes they care, sometimes they don’t. Did you confirm approval from them if they were interested/approved. The Fire Marshall has given the site a complete sign off already.

 

Lastly, the site cannot open until DEQ gives it approval to open. Rich should be aware of that. I am scheduled to be off tomorrow but will keep my phone with me and periodically check it. I’ll attempt to look at any info. you send my way… no guarantees however, with the tester not currently being licensed, that will have to be rectified before accepting that paperwork.

Here is all the testing data for the fuel system and the VR set up report, please review and let me know if there is anything else you need. The facility is scheduled to open tomorrow.
