The Newberg City Council met on April 17, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Approved Resolution 2017-3367, awarding a contract to Michels Pipe Services for lining wastewater pipe and grouting lateral connections. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3357, approving the North College Street Advanced Financing Agreement with Veritas School. ● Approved a change in the investment allocation for the Newberg Employee Retirement Plan ● Approved meeting minutes for March 20, 2017. In other business, City Council: ● Proclaimed May as Historic Preservation Month ● Listened to presentations from Design Star Kids at Mountain View Middle School. ● Heard a presentation from the City Manager on the Council Priorities and his activities. ● Heard reports from City Committees.
