The Newberg City Council met on April 3, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Approved Resolution 2017-3364, awarding a contract to Kittleson Associates for pavement services. ● Denied Resolution 2017-3365, waiver of fees for the Hoover-Minthorn House Museum but approving a $1,000 grant from the Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund. ● Approved appointment of Robert F. Blackmore and Innova Legal Advisors PC as legal counsel to work on Metro West Ambulance service violations. ● Approved a mediated settlement with Newman Living Trust. ● Approved meeting minutes for February 21, March 4 and March 6, 2017. In other business, City Council: ● Proclaimed support for Rotary Peace Pole project. ● Proclaimed National Library Week, National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, and National Arbor Week. ● Heard a presentation from the City Manager on the Council Priorities and his activities. ● Heard reports from Department Heads.
