The Newberg City Council met on March 6, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Approved Resolution 2017-3358, on restoring recreational immunity. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3359, declaring the City an inclusive City for all persons. ● Decided to reconsider Resolution 2017-3357, on creation of an Advanced Financing Agreement with Veritas School at the April 17 City Council meeting. ● Proclaimed City support for the “I’m glad you’re my neighbor” inclusion campaign of 2017. ● Approved meeting minutes for February 6, 2017. In other business, City Council: ● Held two executive sessions – one on the municipal judge’s annual evaluation and another on pending litigation.
