The Newberg City Council met on November 20, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Held a work session on a Hearings Officer concept for land use. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3408, approving reimbursement to the City for Communications Upgrade costs. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3420, Approving $5,000 expenditures from Economic Revolving Loan Fund to prepare Butler property for sale. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3390, Approving Supplemental Budget for $2,184,555. ● Approved Council minutes from November 6th, 2017. ● Appointed Adam Lundstrom to the Citizens Rate Review Committee. In other business, the Council: ● Discussed the Tree Lighting Event that will be held December 2 at the Newberg Library. ● Discussed the Newberg-Dundee Bypass celebration for December 18. ● Heard a report on City Manager activities. ● Showed their support for National Runaway Month by taking a group photo. ● Heard from citizens on the Newberg Dundee Police Citizens Academy, and the Newberg Animal Shelter.
