The Newberg City Council met on November 6, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Heard about affordable housing options from Housing Newberg. ● Heard an update on Yamhill County Transit. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3417, an update of the City’s Public Records Request policy ● Proclaimed November 6, 2017 as a Community Thank You Day to the Police and 911 Center. ● Approved a $15,000 match toward a Wayfinding grant application from the Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund. ● Approved Council minutes from September 18th, October 2nd, and October 16th, 2017. ● Appointed community members to the Waste Water Management Plan Ad Hoc Committee. In other business, the Council: ● Heard reports from Committee chairmen. ● Heard report from City Councilors on the League of Oregon Cities conference. ● Heard a report on City Manager activities.
