The Newberg City Council met on September 5, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Approved Resolution 2017-3412, amending the contract with Knife River Corporation for $201,287.75 for the pavement contract. ● Approved Ordinance 2017-2817, North Valley Annexation ● Approved Ordinance 2017-2815, Dutchman’s Ridge Annexation ● Approved Ordinance 2017-2813, Land Division Regulations ● Approved Resolution 2017-3403, purchase of a Hypochlorite Generation system for $277,312.50 from Whitney Equipment Inc. ● Approved minutes from July 31 and August 7. In other business: ● Heard a presentation on a Communication Plan. ● Heard reviews of plans from Community Development Department including a 2007 plan on ADA & Bike and Pedestrian improvements and the Cultural District. ● Announcement of a Council subcommittee on Council Rules revisions, which will include Councilors Essin and Johnson and Mayor Andrews.
