The Newberg City Council met on February 20, 2018 and took the following actions: ● Approved Ordinance 2018-2828, fixes to the Transportation Utility Fee ● Approved Resolution 2018-3440, authorizing financing of $3,5000,000 for the radio communications upgrade project. ● Approved Resolution 2018-3445, contract amendment to WCCCA agreement with Don Cushing. ● Approved Resolution 2018-3437, approving union contract with AFSCME local 1569. ● Approved Resolution 2018-3439, appointing Community Development Director to Yamhill County Affordable Housing Corporation board of directors ● Approved minutes from January 16, and February 5, 2018. In other business, the Council: ● Heard quarterly report from the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce. ● Heard from the Finance Department on the Equal Pay program in development.
